They close the day after Friday 22/02/2013 the inscriptions to participate in the specialization course in geomatics for the preservation of cultural heritage, to be held in Florence under the supervision of Prof. Grazia Tucci. This is a particular course in the Italian panorama, being in fact the only one that offers competences ranging from 3D relief to structural monitoring, from cartography to thermographic analyses. With these premises, the course is particularly suitable for all those who work in the field of cultural heritage at the level of study, research, documentation and conservation.
The registration fee amounts to €1,200, halved to €600 if the candidate is a graduate with a maximum age of 28 years. The minimum qualification to be admitted is the Bachelor’s degree, or triennial. To keep the lessons will be some of the most important experts in the National and international field in their fields of application, in particular mark the presence of F. Remondino of FBK. The lessons of articulating in 120 hours of lectures + 150 hours of internship optional and will focus specifically on the following topics:

GIS at Urban and architectural scale
Cartography for the profession
Scanning systems for urban and architectural relief
Digitalization of archaeological finds and works of plastic art
“Image-based” systems for 3D model generation

GNSS measurement techniques and data processing
